Those who know me will know that I'm one of those crazy people who enjoy running OCR races such as Tough Mudder, Toughest and Spartan race. These types of endurance events are growing in popularity and are fast becoming something that people want to train for.
After taking on some of the toughest races on earth, I realised that sometimes getting through your workout or race isn’t just purely physical. It's having the mental strength and determination to carry on even when your body is telling you to give up. That was my motivation for designing this class. If you’re thinking of taking on one of these events or even if you’re not and you want to train hard, then this class is perfect for you.
This challenging 30-minute workout is designed to put your mind and body in that uncomfortable position where you think you’ve had enough. It involves both barbell and bodyweight exercises designed to work your whole body as well as building mental resilience so the next time you feel like giving up, you’ll find that inner strength to get it done. If that wasn’t enough, the focus of the class is also to build teamwork and camaraderie. You’ll make new friends, and help you and your teammates find your limits... and then break them!
